Quarterly review of take-up in the major regional office occupier markets in the UK.

Four large deals to the Government Property Unit have lifted take-up to the highest quarterly total on record across the Big Nine cities during Q3. Underlying demand is also proving to be robust with overall take-up 58% above average including the GPU deals and 4% above average without.

This year has marked a step change in serviced office demand in the regions as take-up has increased from an average of 85,000 sq ft pa over the past five years to almost 320,000 sq ft this year.
