GVA Smith Mack Announces Exclusive Agency Agreement for Tripoint Properties, Inc.’s 159,000 SF Berks County Office Portfolio
November 11, 2008
Reading, PA - GVA Smith Mack is pleased to announce its appointment as exclusive listing agent for the leasing of Tripoint Property Inc.'s portfolio of office properties located in the Berks County area.
The portfolio includes some of Berks County's class 'A' suburban office campuses such as 525 Lancaster Avenue, a redevelopment of the former Gilbert Associates Building scheduled for completion in spring of 2009; 210 George Street a recently completed redevelopment project, and 811 William Lane, a multi-tenanted office/flex building located in the Northeast Industrial Park just off of Kutztown Road.
While many other commercial real estate brokerage firms merely "parachute" into the Berks County market when necessary, GVA Smith Mack felt it necessary to take the extra step and have a Commercial Real Estate Professional on the ground running. Jordan Lutz has been charged with that task along with Senior Director, John Susanin who has conducted numerous transactions in this market over the years. Jordan, a resident of Reading, has well established business relations in the Berks County and surrounding areas and will continue building upon his current relationships, while working to expand GVA Smith Mack's presence in Berks County and surrounding markets
"Tripoint Properties brings a new level of sophistication and experience to the Berks County market. Their redevelopment efforts showcase the investment potential of the secondary markets, which will only grow in the future," said Jordan Lutz of GVA Smith Mack.
Tripoint Properties is a real estate development company primarily focused on the redevelopment of under performing commercial properties. Tripoint's success is based on its continuous pursuit of excellence, pride in ownership, a hands-on approach to each phase of the redevelopment process and its willingness to spend quality time in the community where it's working. This concentrated effort allows Tripoint to overcome the unique challenges of redeveloping obsolete buildings and produces the dramatic visual and functional transformation of each property's interior and exterior that is desired by tenants in the local market.
"Tripoint Properties is and will continue to be committed to Berks County and Reading due to the better than average opportunities that exist in the market place for real estate investment. We've had very favorable experiences working with local government and businesses. Because of these favorable experiences, we eagerly look forward to completing future projects that have a positive impact on the local Berks County community," said Andy Hicks, President of Tripoint Properties, Inc.
