GVA Worldwide Expands Its Presence in Eastern Europe with GVA InReal
August 7, 2008
VILNIUS, Lithuania - Michael Corbett, president and chief executive of GVA Worldwide, today announced Vilnius, Lithuania-based GVA InReal as GVA's newest partner firm, a move that significantly expands GVA's coverage in the rapidly-growing eastern European commercial real estate market. The addition further establishes Chicago-based GVA as one of the leading service providers in global real estate solutions.
"The seismic political shift that opened borders in central and Eastern Europe has had a dramatic impact on all aspects of business in the region," said Corbett. "Where just 10 years ago there was very little global demand for real estate, Eastern Europe now attracts international companies both large and small, all seeking a foothold in its vibrant and growing markets."
According to Corbett, the sudden creation of commercial real estate markets naturally sparked the demand for real estate service providers, and InReal - formed in 1994 - was a pioneer in the region. Today, GVA InReal is recognized as one of Eastern Europe's premier commercial and residential real estate firms, with approximately 250 professionals in seven offices throughout Lithuania, Ukraine and Latvia.
"In young markets, it can be difficult to find experienced and knowledgeable real estate professionals, but in GVA InReal we have found a very sophisticated partner that can deliver the high quality of service our international clients expect," added Corbett.
The affiliation with GVA Worldwide provides GVA InReal with many opportunities to share business experience, knowledge and opportunities with like-minded colleagues around the world, noted Dmitrij Cudakov, chief executive of GVA InReal.
"We look forward to a long and successful collaboration with our partners in GVA Worldwide," said Cudakov. "We are confident the association will help us better serve our clients with real estate requirements outside of our region, and attract investors and businesses from Europe, Asia and the United States."
