Global customer relations manager C3i Inc. has subleased 25,619 square feet from RCN to move its domestic call center operations to 100 Baltimore Drive in Wilkes Barre, PA.

The firm is relocating on a 10-year deal from 25 Lindsley Drive in Morristown, NJ, and should be fully operational at the site by next April. It accepted an incentives package from the state totaling about $1.5 million, helping to offset about $4 million in costs associated with the move. The call center is expected to generate more than 200 jobs over the next three years.

"C3i looked all over the country but selected the Northeast Pennsylvania area because of the quality of labor and overall business climate," C3i CEO and co-founder Joel Morse said in a statement. "With the commonwealth's help, we are able to make the business case work."

Robert Besecker of Mericle Commercial Real Estate Svcs represented RCN, while the trio of John Susanin of GVA Smith Mack, Alexander Jinishian of GVA Williams and Kurt Reisinger of Ardor Realty Corp. represented C3i.

The four-story Baltimore Drive office building was built in 2000 and totals more than 100,000 square feet. It sits on 13.7 acres in the East Mountain Corporate Center in Philadelphia's I-81 Corridor.
